Frequently Asked Questions about Frog Collection
What are the differences between the classic Frog and the Frog Collection model?
The Frog Collection model retains all the technical reliability and brewing quality of the classic Didiesse version, but stands out for its design-led positioning: it offers exclusive limited-edition graphic textures and metallic finishes such as Gold and Silver. It also always includes the handy accessory holder to keep everything you need neatly organised.
What should I do if the lever is too stiff to close?
Check that the 44 mm ESE pod is well centred and sitting correctly on the steel pod holder plate before closing the lever.
The machine flashes every 2–3 seconds: is this normal?
Yes, it means the machine has entered stand-by mode to save energy. To reactivate it, simply press and hold the brew button for about 3 seconds.
How often should the gasket be changed?
We recommend replacing it about every 6 months (or after 1,000 coffees). If you notice the tab of the pod is very wet or small amounts of water escape during extraction, it is time to change it.
Which coffee formats can I use with the Frog Collection?
The machine is calibrated for standard ESE pods in the 44 mm format. This system guarantees clean, consistent preparation, as the water passes evenly through the natural filter paper, preserving all the body and aroma of Caffè Borbone blends.
